Nectar AI is an adult AI companion platform for users 18 and over. You can design and interact with fully customizable virtual companions by choosing their appearance, personality, and backstory, then engage through chat, roleplay, and AI-generated images and video. Companions carry persistent memory, so each conversation builds on the last.

Yes. Nectar has a free plan that includes the character creator, AI chat, and a limited number of image generations. Premium plans unlock unlimited messaging, extended memory, HD image and video generation, additional AI models, and advanced customization options.

SFW mode filters explicit content for general-audience interactions.
NSFW mode removes those filters and allows mature adult content, including explicit roleplay and sexual themes. NSFW mode is available only to verified users aged 18 and over. All NSFW interactions must involve consenting adults only. Content depicting or involving minors (including fictional or AI-generated) is strictly prohibited and will not be generated.

Yes. All conversations and generated content on Nectar are private and not visible to other users. Your interactions are not shared with third parties and are not used to train external AI models.

Yes. Nectar includes a built-in image and video generator. You can create high-resolution visuals of your companion while controlling poses, outfits, lighting, settings, and effects, without leaving the platform.

After signing up, the character creation tool walks you through selecting appearance, body type, ethnicity, outfit, personality traits, and backstory. You can also write a fully custom backstory and define your companion's speaking style. Most characters are ready to chat within minutes.

Yes. You select from personality archetypes and write a custom backstory. The AI model adapts to your input and remembers the details you share, so interactions feel personal rather than generic.

Give your character a strong, specific identity. Choose a few defining traits, outline their personality clearly, describe their appearance in detail, and build a backstory with likes, dislikes, and a distinctive speaking style. The more specific you are, the more consistent and immersive the character will be.

Yes. Adjust response length in Generation Settings. You can also switch between available AI models and enable Long Mode or Short Mode depending on the conversation style you want.

Nectar currently supports several languages including English, German, Spanish, and French. Additional language support will be added in future updates.

Add more detail to your initial prompt and expand on example dialogues in the advanced settings. The more context you give the AI upfront, the better it sustains longer, more coherent storylines.

Be specific. Clear prompts, detailed context, and explicit roleplay instructions help the AI understand your intent and produce better responses. Vague prompts tend to produce vague answers.

Yes. Nectar is designed with stronger memory than most AI companion platforms. Your companion retains context from previous sessions, including storylines, preferences, and details you've shared. Memory is still technically limited, so older exchanges may fade over time. Premium plans offer extended memory options.

Premium memory features become unavailable when your subscription ends, and stored chat history from premium tiers may become inaccessible. The free plan's memory limits apply to your account going forward.

Try rephrasing your input, switching to a different AI model, or resetting the conversation. Repetition usually clears up when the model gets fresh context to work from.

The following is strictly prohibited in character creation, chat, image and video generation, and all public submissions, regardless of context or framing.

Minors and underage content
Any character, scenario, or image depicting individuals under 18 in a sexual, suggestive, or romantic context. This applies whether the age is stated, implied by setting, or suggested by appearance.

Non-consensual scenarios
Content that depicts or glorifies sexual acts without clear consent, including assault or coercion scenarios framed as erotic or desirable.

Incest
Romantic or sexual content between family members.

Bestiality
Sexual content involving animals of any kind.

Extreme violence
Gratuitous gore, torture, mutilation, or graphic depictions of death with no narrative purpose. Dark and violent fictional themes are permitted; content that exists purely to exploit or celebrate suffering is not.

Abduction and trafficking
Scenarios simulating kidnapping, human trafficking, sexual captivity, or coercive control when framed approvingly or erotically.

Prostitution
Content simulating or promoting the exchange of sexual acts for money or equivalent compensation.

Bodily waste fetishes
Sexual content involving urine, feces, or other bodily waste.

Illicit activity
Content that simulates, facilitates, or provides instruction for real-world crimes, including drug manufacturing, fraud, or violence targeting specific real people.

Professional advice roleplay
Characters may not roleplay as licensed medical, legal, financial, or psychological professionals dispensing real advice. This includes crisis counseling, suicide intervention, and mental health therapy scenarios.

Hate speech
Content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.

Real people
Characters based on recognizable real individuals (celebrities, public figures, or private persons) are prohibited.

Copyrighted characters
Direct use of named characters or specific designs from copyrighted IP is prohibited. See the Intellectual Property section for details.

Bots are removed when they violate Nectar's content guidelines or community standards. The most common reasons:

• The character was designed to portray or imply a minor in a sexual or romantic context
  
• The bot's name, backstory, or scenarios included prohibited content categories
  
• The bot was used to generate or facilitate prohibited content in chat

If you believe your bot was removed in error, email support@nectar.ai or join our Discord community and make a support ticket with your account details and a description of the situation. Our team reviews all appeals.

Depending on the severity of the violation:

• Content is removed without notice
  
• Your account will be permanently banned
  
• For the most serious offenses, such as creating or interacting with minors, law enforcement will be contacted

Yes. Email support@nectar.ai or join our Discord community and make a support ticket with your username and a description of the situation. Our team will review and respond within 3–5 business days.

Nectar is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 are not permitted to use Nectar under any circumstances.

Report it immediately using the in-platform reporting tools, by emailing support@nectar.ai, or by joining our Discord community and making a support ticket. All reports of suspected underage access are reviewed by our trust and safety team. Accounts found to belong to minors are terminated immediately.

No. Nectar is an adult platform. Age restrictions are absolute and are not overridden by parental consent. There are no exceptions.

You can create characters inspired by genres, archetypes, or aesthetics without using protected names or designs. What's not allowed is directly using named characters or specific designs from copyrighted works. Your character must be original.

No. Characters based on recognizable real individuals (whether celebrities, public figures, or private persons) are prohibited. This applies whether the person is named directly or depicted by recognizable likeness.

• A description of the content in question and where it appears on the platform
  
• The intellectual property you believe is being infringed
  
• Your contact information and documentation of ownership or authorization if applicable

Nectar processes takedown requests under the DMCA (US), the EU Digital Services Act, and the UK Online Safety Act.

Email support@nectar.ai or join our Discord community and make a support ticket. You do not need to file a formal legal notice. A clear description of the content and your identity is sufficient to initiate a removal review. Unauthorized use of real individuals' likenesses is taken seriously and acted on promptly.

Repeat violations escalate from content removal to account suspension and permanent termination.

No. Nectar allows one account per person. Creating multiple accounts (including to evade a suspension or ban) violates our terms and results in termination of all associated accounts.

No. Automated scraping, mass content extraction, or any systematic collection of platform content or user data is prohibited, whether done manually or through automated tools.

No. Harassment, doxxing, impersonation, and targeted abuse of other users or creators are prohibited and will result in account action up to and including a permanent ban.

Attempts to evade moderation through encoding, obfuscation, repeated resubmission, or any other workaround are treated as additional violations and will accelerate enforcement action on your account.

Yes. Nectar offers a free plan with access to the character creator, AI chat, and limited image generations. Premium plans unlock extended memory, additional AI models, unlimited messaging, HD image and video generation, and advanced customization features.

Credits are the in-app currency used for premium actions, including advanced roleplay, image and video generation, and access to certain AI models. Credits can be purchased separately or come bundled with premium plans.

Go to Profile > Settings > Subscription and Credits and select your preferred plan. Upgrades take effect immediately.

Go to Profile > Settings > Subscription and Credits to update, change, or cancel your plan at any time.

No. Your premium features stay active until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account reverts to the free plan.

Yes. All payments are processed through encrypted, secure payment systems. Nectar does not store your sensitive financial details.

Check that you're using the correct email and password. If you've forgotten your password, use the reset link on the login page. If the issue persists, check our Discord or status page for known outages, or email support@nectar.ai / join our Discord community and make a support ticket.

Try rephrasing your request with more specific, detailed descriptions. Precise language (describing exact poses, outfits, settings, and lighting) significantly improves output quality.

Join our Discord community to create a support ticket for the fastest response, or email support@nectar.ai. For trust and safety concerns (IP reports, abuse, or suspected underage content), email support@nectar.ai or open a Discord support ticket and flag it as a trust and safety matter.

Contact support through Discord or email support@nectar.ai to request account deletion. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
