The result looks half anime and half real. There's no option to create a photorealistic image of an AI character. If you prefer hyperrealism, this might be a deal breaker for you.

Just look at how much more realistic the image is. The texture of the skin and the details on the hair strands looks super impressive.

If you try to explore SpicyChat, you'll notice that most of the “personas” created on the platform are in anime style. They look okay, but usually not that attractive or sexually pleasing. Aside from all that I’ve said above, there are even more features on Nectar AI that are implemented better than SpicyChat.

I’ll start with the ability to request for photos inside the chat interface. Given that both platforms allow the generation of images inside the chat interface, Nectar AI is much better at it.

The level of detail and realism in Nectar.ai is far from the animated and sometimes different looking from the AI character in SpicyChat.

This limitation is acknowledged by SpicyChat creators themselves in their documentation.

“Because we have trained the model on only one image, the generated image might look very different from your character. This is especially true when the reference image is poor quality or shows your character in a strange angle or with strange colors.”

This is also true with the AI voice chat support. Both platforms allow you to send and receive voice chats to your AI girlfriend, but the quality of the voice is more natural, conversational, and realistic in Nectar AI.
